The First Gods

The First Gods is a mythic, tribe-survival RPG with adult themes, built in Twine/SugarCube.

You play as something that shouldn’t exist: a conscious mind waking in a void, then falling into a primitive world fully formed — an adult body with no lived life. A newborn mind. Ancient instincts. And a tribe of mortals who will age… while you don’t.

This is a story about power, survival, belief, and consequence — told on a generational scale. Your people won’t just follow you because you’re “the protagonist.” They’ll follow you because you endure, because you provide. Because in this world, thats more than enough.

Story

You begin with nothing but fragments: half-memories that feel like prophecy, knowledge that feels forgotten rather than learned. You descend into an untamed land of forests and rivers, and are found by a small prehistoric tribe living on the edge of hunger.

Years pass. Decades. Generations.

You learn fast. Wounds heal cleanly. Illness never comes. The tribe grows old. You do not.

And when the land begins to fail, you lead them into the dark — toward a rich, hidden region that feels like sanctuary… and like a trap.

• Tribe survival + leadership, where your choices shape stability, zeal, and the long arc of your people.
• A living world of rival tribes that act independently each End Turn (hunt, fortify, migrate, trade, raid each other).
• Meaningful inter-tribe conflict, including raids that steal population/resources — and the possibility of tribes being wiped out entirely.
• Quests and major events (including the Outcast Brother questline and new additions like The Moving Mountain / The Wildling).
• Season plans (with tooltips + optional automation) that let you steer your tribe’s priorities over time.
• A rebuilt interface designed to keep the important stuff visible (and a cleaner report screen for turn outcomes).
• Adult-themed content present in the game (including erotic events), woven into the same harsh, mythic tone rather than feeling like a separate mode.

Note

The First Gods is still in development. Systems are actively being expanded and rewritten, and you may still encounter missing features or rough edges as the game grows.

This game is best experienced on a Full HD+ (1920×1080 or above) screen. Mobile gameplay is currently not supported.
